Unified Access: API Gateway + FastAPI

Our API Gateway, coupled with a FastAPI backend, provides a seamless, unified entry point for all users—parents, researchers, and administrators. This ensures every interaction is fast, reliable, and consistent, no matter the device or use case.

Privacy & Consent: AWS Cognito, JWT, and Consent Management

Trust is non-negotiable, especially in healthcare. We use AWS Cognito for secure authentication, JWT for session management, and a dynamic consent layer so users always control their data. Our platform is architected to meet HIPAA and GDPR standards, giving peace of mind to families and institutions alike.

Intelligent AI Services: vLLM Inference, Qdrant, and S3

We’ve fine-tuned our own Mistral 7B model and deployed it with vLLM for high-performance inference. By integrating Qdrant (Vector Database) and S3, we enable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) that grounds every AI answer in real, up-to-date documents—whether it’s the latest research paper or a parent’s uploaded care plan. This means scientists get context-aware insights, and parents receive clear, relevant answers.

Dochub: Document Management, OCR, and Semantic Search

Parents often juggle a mountain of medical files. Researchers need fast access to diverse datasets. Dochub is our answer: a document hub that supports file upload, OCR, tagging, and semantic search, powered by AWS Textract and Lambda. Instantly transform PDFs, lab results, or doctor’s notes into searchable, organized knowledge—no more digging through folders or emails.

Community Forum: ECS/EKS & RDS

No one should face rare conditions alone. Our community forum, running on AWS ECS/EKS and RDS, connects parents, scientists, and advocates for peer support, expert Q&A, and knowledge sharing. It’s scalable, secure, and built to foster a sense of belonging.

Journals & Trackers: DynamoDB & RDS

Tracking symptoms, treatments, and milestones is critical for both families and researchers. Our journal and tracker modules use DynamoDB and RDS to deliver real-time, secure logging—helping parents spot trends and scientists gather real-world data for faster discovery.

Admin Dashboards & Analytics: QuickSight & CloudWatch

Transparency and insight drive better outcomes. Our admin dashboards, powered by QuickSight and CloudWatch, provide real-time analytics on platform usage, engagement, and system health. This enables continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making for our team and partners.

Feedback Pipeline: Webhooks, Lambda & S3

We believe in listening closely to our users. Our feedback capture system collects input via webhooks, processes it with Lambda, and stores it in S3—ensuring every voice is heard and every suggestion can help shape our roadmap.

Continuous AI Improvement: SageMaker, Axolotl, EC2 & S3

Rare conditions evolve, and so must our AI. Our fine-tuning pipeline leverages SageMaker, Axolotl, EC2, and S3 to continuously improve model accuracy and relevance. We rapidly incorporate new research, user feedback, and real-world data to keep our platform at the leading edge.
